Ok how many of you people have heard of a website with the url http://www.geni.com. Well i must say, that this site is simply the bomb. Its a website that allows you to build up your family tree. Now it may sound simple but this website really isn’t. It isnt a website that promises to search out your entire blood relatives and put them in your family tree for you, instead you have to do the work yourself… well not exactly. Everybody who you add to your family tree can also add more people to the family tree. Therefore so the people who know your fathers side of the family better can populate that side and your mother can populate her side etc etc.

The website also gives you birthday reminders and you can add pictures and stuff etcetera. Its only in beta form though so dont expect it to run fault free. But for the time being, its perfect for me. So far my tree has gone up to around 450 people and we still trying to go back further in the family tree. Through this I got to talk to cousins I havent spoken to in years (or even met for that matter) and i’m learning that my family is much huuger than originally thought. Check it out people.
