Well while browsing through my daily tech websites, I came upon this very interesting product called the drobo. Now I can say that if i had the extra $500 I would definitely invest in this product as its very useful as it automatically monitors and repairs problems that can hurt your data. It requires no external programs and complex RAID configurations (I have personally given up on RAID myself). It makes your hard drives hotswappable (to some extent). It uses strictly SATA however so IDE users need to step up to the plate and upgrade to use this and its compatible with the wide array of windows and mac operating systems (I dont see linux compatibility so cyberpunk can go cry now).
