Interesting interview i came accross its old but interesting non the less. Now unto what mental mind is telling me. Do you think ubuntu on dell will increase dell sales? it sounds odd right meaning why would that be the case. but seeing that this might increase hardware vendor support and the possibility exists to get a near “okay” configured dell with ubuntu pre-installed the the person thats getting into linux might up to buy that instead of getting say an hp (leading computer and notebook seller) and install and configure on their own.

I’m really happy for the current situation. that is Ubuntu on dells, What i wanna see now is what the market will do with it.
