1: Put in CPU
2: Change ACPI to Multiprocessor via driver.
Reboot.
Windows XP, which came out later…..
REPAIR INSTALLATION….
The L33ten sayeth: Manually rip out multiprocessor hal from XP cd and change urself. reboot.
M$ Sayeth: No…Repair Install.

Oh, for those who dont know, the 34 minute mark in the setup is when XP detects your hardware, and attempts to load drivers….What it can’t load or find, it don’t skip like a smart OS.
NO, the POS Just sits like an idiot grinning it’s fool head off.
M$ Says: To Fix, just reboot each time it happens, it will eventually skip the hardware and then you can continue.
