Blizzard does it again. They haven’t made me feel this good since the announcement of warcraft 3 or the expansion ‘the frozen throne’. Prior to the warcraft 3 the strat game of choice for most blizzard fans was without a shadow of a doubt starcraft, which still gets game play today believe it or not.

A terran warrior as my self who has been putting shame to the zerk swarms and protus troops since the early 1990’s almost died on reciept of the news. It really brought some nostalgic vibe in the air remembering taking over the computer lab at school to run quick skirmishes with some friends.

GameSpot threw out a shit load of pictures for the game and it is nothing short of BEAUTIFUL New 3d engine it seems, new battle system as well. Looks like it will not dissapoint. Blizzard have brought the 3 initial races back, the Terrans, Zerg and Protus as well as introduced a new race based on kerrigan but un-named to date. War hammer was gaining a bit off a buzz as of late but it seem that may end soon. Great going blizzard your my hero

While Looking at the pictures and thinking about the game stirred my imagination a bit though. Back int he day starcraft was more of a go between game untill the release of starcraft 3 was it not. Therefore can we assume that back in the blizzards freezer they’re working on the next warcraft? What will it be, a mmorpg with the same engine as world of warcraft which has taken the world by storm or will it stick to the classic strategy engine displayed in warcraft 3? I am hoping for a merger of both. Making it completely a single player mmorpg would ruin the game in my eyes I need my massive army to maintain. I need to micromanage, The game doesnt seem as fun just running around with one guy.
